The Generative Garden is a series of AI-generated florals born from one question: how familiar are we with the touch of flowers?
Created in 2023, this was Laura Abad’s first exploration with generative visual tools, using prompts to investigate how artificial intelligence interprets botanics.
Each image evokes the shapes of nature through hyper-synthetic textures, inviting us to reflect on the fact that the artificial threat is nothing new – it’s just evolving. In a world increasingly filtered and manufactured, this collection explores the tension between what looks real and what feels alive, beyond the hype.
